Fresh out of the oven: The only way to start is to start
As a person, I love to share my journey. I believe the experiences of one can inform, enrich and improve the experiences of others.
As a professional, I am all about marketing and personal development. This is the space in the internet where I get to share it all!
For years, I have desired to build something meaningful in the internet. But the fear of getting started was too much. I almost felt as if I had only one chance to make a good impression. One chance to launch my website, one chance to say the “right” thing and so only one chance to succeed or fail. This kept me in a loop for more years than I would like to admit: buying domains, paying for hosting, organising the right photoshoots, working hours and hours on the site’s structure, copy and design… Only to realise that nothing ever made “made the cut” and so nothing really ever saw the light of the day.
Nothing has to last forever and that is ok.
As years passed, I started to notice that most people that I looked up to simply started somewhere, and allowed everything to unfold and evolve over time. Today, many of their projects have evolved to such an extent that you wouldn’t even recognise them if you compared them to their first version. Others, have fully retired their projects and started brand-new ones. And that’s the thing: everything gets to be in constant evolution and while you get to create things that last forever, it is also ok if not everything does.
An imperfect space that develops over time.
For the time being, this is the space where you can get to (a) know me better, (b) benefit from my knowledge and get entertained reading or listening to my experiences, and (c) explore the different ways in which you can learn from me or work with me. What will become of this space over time? I have no idea. But the desire to share has been in my soul for so long, it is time to take action, build the imperfect space and allow it to evolve over time. So without any further to do: welcome to my corner in the internet – I am so happy you are here!
